Even when the restaurant is bustling—as Jessica Kampa observed on a busy Sunday morning—the fast, efficient service ensures food arrives promptly, usually within 15 minutes, so you’re never left waiting long to enjoy your meal. The slight trade-off of sitting at the bar rather than a table hardly dampens the spirit, thanks to the engaging vibe and friendly bartenders behind the counter.

We got off the highway to get gas and a bite to eat. We chose the restaurant with the highest Google rating and we are so glad we did! The salmon salad was delicious and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The swiss melt was so good. Many people ordered burgers and they looked amazing. I wish we could go again for breakfast! We loved the charm of the place too.
Great food & service ... disappointed that breakfast ended at 11 & we walked in at 1050 :( ... coffee was GREAT, waitress was VERY attentive and the mushroom & swiss was to die for!
We have been all over and have yet to find a steak as good as Kelly's serves. Highly recommend to others. The drinks are amazing, the staff is friendly and polite
Typically my husband and I don’t go out for breakfast as we both cook, but we decided to venture to Stanley to the greenhouse and felt like some breakfast beforehand. We arrived right about 9 on a Sunday. All the tables were taken so we sat at the bar— it was not the most comfortable for eating because it was so high but we rolled with it. If busy, you might have to wait for a table as there is somewhat limited seating here. The decor is nothing to write home about but this didn’t bother us— we were looking for good food. My husband ordered the Bacon Florentine Benedict, something familiar yet different, and I went with the Deluxe Hashbrowns with bacon and all the veggies. Our food did take a bit but it wasn’t a huge deal for us— we weren’t in a hurry. And, it was worth the wait! The portions were so generous and everything was DELICIOUS!! My husband loved the unique take on the Benedict— he said it didn’t really remind him of a Benedict other than in the way it was put together, but he loved it and cleaned his plate. My hashbrowns were also fabulous— filled with veggies— I took half of them home because I couldn’t eat them all. The hashbrowns also came with toast, I chose rye, and it came with homemade jam. The jam was also delicious and not too sweet! We LOVED the food. The server was as attentive as possible but it was busy and she was busting her butt. The Kelly Grill was a fun breakfast find and we will absolutely return to eat again! EDIT: We returned this week with my parents and had another great breakfast!! They, too, were impressed with the food!
It’s always the “hole In a wall” diners/bars that are the best!!! This food cured my hangover, definitely worth trying if you’re ever around (:
Absolutely loved it! Amazing ole bar restored and authentic. Regular customers were so friendly. Clean and quaint dining area. The food was plentiful, fresh, robust flavors, and the strawberry jam and breads were homemade! Delicious!!! Definitely going back when in that part of the state again.
Was told about this place by a friend. Drove a town over to Stanley to pick up some burgers. Loved the brioche buns and the onion balsamic jam that was on my patty melt. The boyfriends burger had pulled pork, ham, bacon and cheese. He said it was really good. I wasn’t able to get fries with our order but I’m not sure if that was because I ordered close to closing time or if they said they don’t have deep fried food. It was yummy though! It was kid approved.
